The cumulative count of conforming (CCC-r) control chart considers the number of units that must be inspected to observe
the rth non-conforming one. These charts are designed based on the negative binomial distributions, and they
are powerful charting technique used to monitoring very high quality processes. This paper investigated the performance
of using variable sampling scheme (VSI) for CCC-r control chart under group inspection (CCCG-rVSI chart) in
the presence of inspection errors. It is shown that the CCCG-rVSI chart performs better than CCCG-r
chart with fix sampling interval (CCCG-rFSI) chart. Furthermore, Numerical analysis is
presented to demonstrate the efficiency of VSI scheme for the proposed control chart.
